PWC Interview Timeline/Process

Hey everyone I did a PWC consulting interview and the recruiter said I would hear back in about 10 days. I did a behavioral and case interview back to back.

Is there another round or will I hear back with a final decision?

Hi Dallan,

First of all, congratulations on the progress in the application process with PwC thus far!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • First of all, the interview process at consulting firms typically involves several rounds of interviews.
  • Moreover, when in doubt, I would highly advise you to contact the recruiter to inquire about the entire interview process.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Hi there,

the final round typically involves one or several interviews with at least one partner of the firm. If you haven't interviewed with a partner yet, you can assume that there will be more rounds to the process.

Best of luck

Hi Dallan,

Q: Is there another round or will I hear back with a final decision?

Most companies have at least 2 rounds of interviews, so if this was the first round, it is likely that you will have one more round. HR should clarify it when you hear back.

Good luck!

Hi there,

Likely, you will still have another round with several interviews.

Most firms have 2 rounds, some even 3 (1 initial screening call, and 2 rounds with 2-3 interviews each).

Fingers crossed!

Cheers,

Florian

Congrats on the interviews! Typically, you will need to at least have a conversation with a partner at PwC (coming from a PwC alum). Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions

Hey there,

A general good principle to follow is to always clarify issues pertaining to recruiting process with recruiters. They would have the most accurate answers as practices can vary across regions, even for the same firm!

That said, there usually are at least (or at most) 2 rounds. Clarify next steps with the recruiter

All the best
