Question about

Average waiting time since assessemnt for associate consultant position ?

Can anyone help with a table or even a range on the Whiteshield recruitment process ? I took my exam on 12 Feb and did not get any feedback yet.

Do I get feedback on whether I am promoted to the next step or not?

If I am invited to the next step ? how much on average to prepare ?

If my scores were bad in a few competent as I got the invitation to take the test on short notice , with only 1 week till the deadline , considering having a full-time job and a life the remaining time was not enough to practice different types of questions . Anyway how long should I wait before taking those tests again , or results are kept on my profile forever? Or every job , you get a fresh start to be considered for the job and start assessments for each job I apply for ?

Hi there,

First of all, congratulations on the progress in the application process with Whiteshield thus far!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your questions:

  • First of all, of course, the lead time can vary. If you have not heard anything after two weeks, you can certainly follow up with the recruiter.
  • Moreover, you will certainly receive feedback on whether or not you will progress in the application process.
  • Lastly, if you haven't already done so, I would highly advise you to start case study and personal fit preparation immediately. Other candidates prepare for weeks and months, although there is no general guideline on how much preparation you need.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming Whiteshield interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

I'm always there to help! Unfortunately, most of the video material is not well thought out and you should really prepare with peers or an experienced coach like me.

Hi there,

Usually, consulting firms take 2 - 3 weeks to give feedback about the tests. If the firms are still considering you for the position, you won´t get news until the 2-3 week ends. You will get an earlier notification if you are not part of the process because of the exam results.

Best,

Carlos

Hey there 🙂, waiting times for Whiteshield's Associate Consultant assessments can vary, but many candidates report hearing back about 2–4 weeks after taking the test. Typically, you’ll only get detailed feedback if you’re moving on to the next round, so if you don't hear anything, it might simply mean you’re not progressing. If you do get invited to the next stage, most candidates usually have a couple of weeks to prepare, though it's wise to ask for specifics since this can differ by case and team. As for retaking the assessments, most firms treat each application cycle as a fresh start, meaning previous results generally don't carry over indefinitely—but confirming this with your recruiter is always a good idea. Best, Alessa 😇

Hi there,

According to Glassdoor the process ranges from 2 weeks (most cited) to 2 months.
I advise you to send a message to HR and check what is the average process length for the location you’re applying to.

Best,

Mari

Hi,

In general, the consulting firm takes up to 2 weeks to get back with a response. If you did not hear back from them, I advise to sent a polite follow-up email.

They will come back to you with the result. Of course, if it takes too long, you can reach out to them.

They will not keep the result forever, if you reapply after failing you'll be able to retake the test.

Hey there,

It is reasonable to wait for around 2 weeks before following up politely and professionally with recruiting.

Consulting recruiting feedback times can vary, and can even extend in excess of 4 weeks in bad circumstances.

All the best
