This of course depends on your performance, leadership skills, business impact, and client contributions, etc. BCG follows a merit-based promotion system, so demonstrating consistent excellence in these areas could accelerate the timeline. Regular feedback and development reviews also play a significant role in determining your readiness for promotion as you may know.

This is pretty standardized across regions and firms.

The normal time would be around +/-2 years, with maybe 18 months if you are an extreme high performer.

One trick to find out for yourself: Go on LinkedIn and search for relevant profiles. Some put their tenure and stations on there with the exact dates.
