McKinsey Final Round

In McKinsey's final round interviews, which typically consist of 2-3 interviews, are all interviews conducted on the same day, or are they spread across different days for both (1) online and (2) in-person formats? If they are on different days, what is the usual gap between each interview?

There is no standard answer as the process has evolved a lot over the last couple of years. If you are applying as part of a cohort (e.g., the MBA hiring process) it is very likely all done in one day and in person. For experienced hires it can vary a lot more and can occur on different days depending on the availability of the Partners etc.

If done on different days they typically look to finish it within the week so it is not delayed by a lot.

Hi there,

Depends on the office.

Before COVID, all interviews were held in the office on the same day, often also back-to-back within 3 hours.

Currently, it can be either way.

If it's online, I have seen everything from same-day b2b up to 1 month between interviews; usually, however, it's in the same week.

Cheers,

Florian
