How to Differentiate the BCG Practice Case Assessment from the Actual One?

Hi there. I received an invitation from BCG to complete their online assessment/virtual case. They provided me with a link to the mockup/practice case. However, when I clicked on it, I didn't see any indicator of it being a practice case since it appeared to have the same exact looks as the actual one (for instance, there was a disclaimer at the start saying that I could only take the assessment once etc). I haven't started the assessment yet in fear that the link I clicked would me to the actual one instead of the practice one. Have any of you encountered a similar experience before?

Hi Wulan,

First of all, congratulations on the invitation from BCG!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your situation:

  • I would advise you to contact BCG's recruitment team directly to clarify whether the link you received is for the practice assessment or the actual one.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming BCG pre-interview assessment and/or interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Hey there,

I totally agree with all my Coaching Colleagues here.

A general rule and advice I give all me candidates and people that ask me is that you should clarify recruiting queries with Recruiting teams in the offices you are applying for! That's where you'd get the best and most accurate responses

All the best
