Hi there,

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • First of all, and contrary to what other coaches have said, no, you are generally not allowed to apply for an internship at BCG after graduation. There may be a few exceptions in certain countries, but these are rare. If you want to know for sure, I would advise you to contact the recruiting teams of the offices you are interested in.
  • Moreover, I wonder why you would want to apply for an internship at all if you have already graduated and may want or need to start working.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming BCG pre-interview assessment and/or interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

You may be able to apply for a Visiting Associate (VA) role at BCG if you graduated 6 months ago, but it depends on the specific office and region. While the VA role is primarily intended for current students or those nearing graduation, some offices might consider recent graduates within a certain timeframe. The best intel will be from the recruiting team in your target office!

Hey there,

My understanding is that a VA role is for candidates that are yet to graduate, in which case you'd not meet this pre-requisite. It would then be at the discretion of the office to make a concession for you.

But as this varies from office to office and region to region, you'd definitely have to check with the recruiting team there to find out if it is possible for you. They may push you towards a full time entry level role (since you've already graduated) but it's still important to check with them

All the best

Hi there,

This solely depends on the office. Please reach out to HR of your target office and discuss this with them directly.

All the best,

Florian
