BCG Application Feedback

Hello everyone,

I applied to BCG roughly 6 weeks ago for an entry-level position after completing my master's degree. After 2 weeks, they asked me to update my transcript of records for my master's degree. I did this, and only the date changed on the transcript; the grades remained the same, as the only missing grade is for my master's thesis.

They confirmed that my documents are complete. Since then, I haven't heard anything, and my application status shows that it is still being reviewed. Should I follow up with them via email?

Hi there,

Given it’s been 4 weeks since you heard back, it is fine to follow up with them for an update.

Good luck!

Hi there,

processing times can be this slow. It won’t hurt to politely follow up if it has already been four weeks for you. In case you have a competing offer, there is some leverage for them to speed up the process. Otherwise you’ll just have to wait for their feedback. You’ll get it eventually. Just keep applying broadly and don’t only focus on one company.

Best of luck

Hi there,

At this point, you should definitely follow up. If you have the phone number of the recruiter, call them (much more direct and quick).

Cheers,

Florian

Yes, after a month waiting for an update, it is more that fair to reach out to them directly.

I would follow up - no harm by doing so.

All the best!
