From my experience and mentees I know that the Behavioral Assessment evaluates how you respond to workplace scenarios, so it's important to align your answers with Deloitte’s core values, such as integrity, teamwork, and client commitment. 

Think like a consultant by demonstrating structured thinking, adaptability, and ethical judgment while prioritizing teamwork and stakeholder management.

 Consistency across different scenarios is crucial, and practicing situational judgment tests from platforms like SHL or Talent Q can be helpful. For the Cognitive Assessment, which includes numerical, verbal, and logical reasoning, focus on improving your speed and accuracy. In numerical reasoning, practice interpreting graphs, percentages, and ratios while strengthening your mental math skills. For verbal reasoning, work on critical reading and comprehension under time constraints by identifying key details efficiently. Logical reasoning will test your pattern recognition and abstract thinking, so practicing with shape-based sequences is beneficial. Managing your time effectively during the test is critical, as these assessments are often time-pressured. Using practice platforms such as AssessmentDay, JobTestPrep, or Deloitte’s own resources (if available) can provide valuable experience.

  • First of all, I would advise you to research and/or contact the recruiter to find out more about this particular pre-interview assessment.
  • Moreover, in general, most pre-interview assessments are quite similar in the sense that they focus on numerical/verbal/abstract reasoning and include some form of (pseudo) psychometrics. There are many free online resources to practice, such as the SHL practice tests.
