A coachee shared 2 months ago he would earn around 20k EPG a month at BCG with a position equivalent of 1 year experience in Cairo. Best to cross check with online sources. I also believe that Bain does not have an office in Cairo today.

This should give you a good indicator of the spectrum, the salaries don't tend to be more than 10% different across MBB.

Hey there 🙂, after doing some research on Glassdoor, this is what I found about MBB salaries in Egypt:

• Associate-Level: Typically earns around EGP 600,000 – 900,000 per year including base salary and performance bonuses.
• Consultant-Level: Salaries range from EGP 1M – 1.5M per year, with bonuses depending on firm performance.
• Manager/Senior Consultant: Earnings increase to EGP 1.8M – 3M per year, as performance bonuses become a bigger part of the package.
• Partner-Level: At this stage, compensation varies widely, often exceeding EGP 5M+ per year, with a significant portion coming from profit-sharing and client revenue generation.

Compared to Dubai or Europe, salaries in Egypt are lower, but the cost of living is significantly lower as well, making the relative earning power quite strong. If you’re considering MBB in Egypt, keep in mind that internal transfers to higher-paying regions like the UAE or Europe are possible after gaining experience.
