Rounding up GPA

Can I round a 3.76 to a 3.8 for MBB applications?

And if I can do that, do I put it as 3.8 on both CV and online application or only CV?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Yes, you can but do it consistently across all documents and online forms.

All the best,

You can do that, even if it will probably not make any big different. As other colleagues said, make sure you are consistent everywhere with the GPA you communicate (verbally and in written).

Best,

Alberto

Hi there,

when you do that, you have to do it in every document and you need to list all of your GPAs with only one decimal.

Hey there,

Yes, you can do that, as long as you are consistent across both the CV and online application.

That is standard and should be acceptable

All the best!

Hey!

Yes, rounding is generally acceptable for MBB applications, as long as it’s within a reasonable range. You can use 3.8 on both your CV and online application for consistency. Just be prepared to discuss your exact GPA if asked in interviews.
