Public Sector Cases

Question

Hi,

I am currently preparing for a public-sector consultancy and I've already run out of cases. I could find 8-10 here on preplounge and a couple more on the internet, but other than that material seems to be hard (if not impossible) to find. Is there anyone with a public-sector case library or willing to give out some cases?

Grateful for every advice of you guys and where to find it or what to do.

Hi Michael,

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

First of all, please keep in mind that public sector consulting is not very different from consulting in other industries and that the problems are quite similar. Therefore, I don't see a need to prepare exclusively with public sectore case studies, even though a general knowledge (which you can easily acquire by reading) would certainly be beneficial.
Moreover, I would advise you to look into casebooks from business schools, as they often include public sector cases and can be a valuable resource.
