Mckinsey Solve Game

Please explain me why this won't work? The software I practice on keeps saying it won't work! I cannot get my head around it as per the rule “Highest Calorie Provider” eats first.

TOP CHAIN:

Mountain Lion (Eats on Coyote, Pygmy Rabbit, Pronghorn, Mule Deer) Eats First - (Require - 4100, Provides - 4800 Cal; eats on Pygmy Rabbit; Leaving 400 Cal)

Coyote (Eats on Pronghorn, Mule Deer) Eats Second - (Require - 2050, Provides - 3300 Cal; eats after Mountain Lion on Mule Deer; Leaving 2150 Cal)

HERBIVORES:

Pygmy Rabbit (Eats on Purple Milkvetch, Mountain Sagebrush) Eats First - (Require - 2800, Provides - 4500 Cal; Eats First on Purple Milkvetch, Leaving 2200 Cal)

Mule Deer (Eats on Mountain Sagebrush and Hedgehog Cactus) Eats Second - (Require - 4750, Provides - 4200 Cal; Eats next after Rabbit on Mountain Sage; Leaving 50 Cal)

Pronghorn (Eats on Mountain Sagebrush and Hedgehog Cactus and Purple Milkvetch) Eats Third - (Require - 3200, Provides - 2100 Cal; Eats last on Hedgehog Cactus; Leaving 1500 Cal)

PRODUCERS:

Purple Milkvetch (Provides - 5000 Cal) - Gets eaten first by Pygmy Rabbit

Mountain Sagebrush (Provides - 4800 Cal) - Gets eaten by Mule Deer

Hedgehog Cactus (Provides - 4700 Cal) - Gets eaten by Pronghorn

The order by which the animals eat is the following:

- Mountain Lion -→ Pygmy Rabbit
- Mule Deer -→ Mountain Sagebrush
- Coyote -→ Mule Deer
- Pronghorn -→ Hedgehog Cactus
- Pygmy Rabbit

Pygmy Rabbit does not survive, as not enough calories are provided by Purple Milkvetch and Mountain Sagebrush. The aforementioned producers also die, since eaten by Pygmy Rabbit.

Highest calorie provider at any given time (not at the beginning of the game) eats next, starting from the highest calorie provider among the species he can eat.
