Kearney Middle East Manager Interview

Anyone with direct experience recruiting with Kearney ME (or other ME consulting forms) for a manager role who can speak on the recruitment process including number of interviews, interview formats (case vs behavioral), interview focus (project mgt vs BD vs industry expertise) etc?

Thanks in advance!

Hey there,

Generally Kearney's interviewing process consists of 3-4 rounds which include personal fit and case interview portion. The types of cases can vary a lot based on if there is a specific industry or topical focus that you are applying for and also based on the interviewer you get (who would have their own preferences and individual styles). Given that you ask about a managers role, leadership experience (especially in from a consulting environment) and problem solving ability is something Partners will care about quite a bit.

All the best

Hi there,

First of all, congratulations on the (presumed) invitation from Kearney!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your situation:

  • First of all, no one can seriously answer the question about the entire application process, as it often depends on the specific practice you will be joining.
  • Moreover, I would highly advise you to wait until the recruiter explains the entire application process to you so that you know for sure.
  • Lastly, interviews at Kearney generally consist of a personal fit and a case study part. For the personal fit part, they will most likely also talk about all three your project management/leadership experience, business development and industry expertise.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming Kearney interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen
