Hi Mary,

It’s definitely not a bad sign – probably not a sign at all, to be honest. These kinds of meetings often depend on people’s availability and scheduling, so there’s nothing unusual about having one with the Staffing Manager after your last round. It’s likely just part of the process to give you a chance to learn more about the office, their approach to staffing, and to hear about your preferences.

Best of luck with your interview!

Best regards,

Mattia

Hi there,

It's not a negative sign. It could mean many things, for instance:

  • Feedback discussion about your interview performance including offer or rejection (depending on your final interview)
  • Logistics discussion about the current hiring demand and your starting timeline
  • Discussion about your background and potential project/practice fit
  • All of the above

Fingers crossed for the final one!

Cheers,

Florian

Thank you very much for your reply! The aforementioned reasons are most likely the cause of this meeting. I just didn't see it happening elsewhere so it got over my head.

May mean that for some reason there's a change in the process (another round, discuss a delay of starting date - but this is positive as it means you get an offer). But difficult to know for sure, this is pure speculation.
