It has been three weeks since my final interview with the partner at PwC, and I have yet to hear back from anyone.
Should I reach out to HR for an update, or would it be better to wait a bit longer?

Hi there,
After 3 weeks I would definitely reach out for an update.
Feel free to call your HR contact directly as this would usually yield quicker and more direct results as an email that might be ignored.
Fingers crossed!

Hi there,
before offer decisions are communicated, they have to be aligned between HR and the interviewers in the process. This can sometimes take time (up to several weeks) for various reasons. A few common ones are listed below for a general overview:
I know that this is unsettling and every candidate wants to have clarity on the status sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, you'll always have to wait for the official word. At this point, after three weeks, it is reasonable for you to follow up though.
However, it is best to just assume a rejection and continue with the recruiting efforts with other firms until you have a written offer in your hands. That way you at least won't lose time.
Best
Hi there,
Q: Should I reach out to HR for an update, or would it be better to wait a bit longer?
After 3 weeks it is totally fine to follow up. You can send an email to HR and if you don’t hear back after one week, you can call them for an update to speed up the feedback.
Good luck!
