Hi,

Do you know if this is an automated email based on someone within McKinsey referring you for a particular position? If that is the case, it's possible you get such emails (incl. reminders) without details to a particular office/ recruiter. The application platform is centralized across offices and regions.

But if in doubt, it's good to reach out to the general email address that should be mentioned somewhere in the email. Or to reach out to the recruiters of the particular office you are interested in.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Marilyn

Thank you, Marilyn. However, the request I received is specific to a particular country and position. They’ve asked me to submit HR verification documents and mentioned that I should expect a test email soon, which has left me a bit confused.

Not sure what a test email could refer to. If in doubt if this is an authentic email or if you want to clarify the process, you can always submit a contact form on the McKinsey website and then get in touch directly with your local recruiter.

Hi there,

Did you every send anything out in advance or took part in an event/call with them or did you get referred?

McK would not usually send out these emails on their own for many reasons, data protection laws being one of them...

Cheers,

Florian

Hey there,

My general advice in these situations is to always clarify any queries directly with recruiting so as to avoid speculation!
