Hello, does anyone have information about the EY-P Strategy mathematical and critical thinking test during the recruiting day? Thanks in advance!
EY-P RecruitingTest

Hi there,
I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:
- First of all, I would highly advise you to contact the recruiter to know more in detail what the EY-Parthenon pre-interview assessment is about.
- Moreover, based on the information provided, you will most likely be asked to solve a mix of quantitative and reasoning questions, possibly across numerical, verbal, and abstract assessments. There are many free online resources to practice, such as the SHL practice tests.
You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.
If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming EY-Parthenon interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Best,
Hagen

Hi,
The numerical and critical thinking tests during the EY Parthenon recruitment day are designed to assess your cognitive and analytical abilities, which are crucial for consulting and business roles. These tests evaluate how well you can process information, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure. Here's a breakdown of what you might encounter:
- graph/table reading
- basic calculations (%, ratio, average ...)
- financial data calculation (profit, margin ...)
Let me know if you require further help.

I’ve heard that the EY-P Strategy test focuses a lot on problem-solving, logical reasoning, and numerical analysis. It’s designed to assess your ability to think critically under pressure. A good way to prepare is by practicing GMAT-style questions, as they have a similar format. If you can, try to time yourself to simulate test conditions—speed and accuracy matter!

Hi, the EY-P Strategy test typically assesses your quantitative skills and critical thinking by requiring quick, accurate calculations and logical interpretation of data; I can say that the test is designed to evaluate your ability to approach complex problems in a structured and analytical way, so intensive preparation with quantitative case studies and logical exercises is key—feel free to reach out if you have more questions.

Hi there,
A good way to practice for this type of test is to work on
- GMAT question sets
- SOVA questions sets
in addition to the general consulting skill set (quick math, chart interpretation, etc).
All the best,
Florian

For this you have to prepare for GMAT type of questions (problem solving and critical reasoning sections)
