Both are valid options.

However, before giving a more personalised recommendation - you might want to share some more specific details (perhaps over message). Things like your previous experience, how the programs fit into your profile, and what are your career options in later life.

Please feel free to message with your details

The answer here comes down to what career path, industry and locations you want to pursue post graduation. Both schools are good in their own ways but the opportunities differ. For example, Warwick has a very strong base in manufacturing industries and a stronger reputation in the UK over Europe. Sharing more around those will help you get better recommendations.

Thank you so much for the response. Apart from by business administration undergraduate studies, i am co founder of a digital/creative agency and have also done a 6 months coding bootcamp at Le Wagon. While the agency is going well right now, scalability towards the finances which later stages in life often require is tough and uncertain. My goal for this masters programme is to give me a sound plan B to fall back on, ideally i want to work towards a career in Management Consulting (MBB). Additionally i want to give my agency time to grow during my studies while also hopefully gaining some valuable insights towards the strategical aspects and decision making within my agency-role. Long term i would like to end up in my hometown of Munich Germany, Zürich would also be an option as i need to be in a german speaking country eventually for my partner.

In my experience your degree choices and universities are not entirely aligned with a traditional MBB Associate role. You may be better of starting with a specialized Associate position to improve your chances of getting into MBB

Hi Jonathan,

Both are great for career opportunities.

CEMS and Esade have a better brand and broader career opportunities imho.

Bit of a bias here since I also did CEMS at HKUST & LSE.

All the best,

Florian

Both are great options, but I would slightly lean towards the former because they might have more of an internationally recognisable brand.

If you still have time until you need to make the decision, if I were you I would just reach out to a couple of former students and get their perspective on this.

This way you can have a genuine conversation with people who were actually part of those programs.

Hi Jonathan,

Q: Esade (CEMS) vs Warwick Business School?

I would recommend checking the track record of the programs in terms of exits. You can do so as follows:

  1. Go to LinkedIn
  2. Add the universities as "School", one by one (if possible, target the Master only)
  3. Filter by each target company you have as “Current company” for your target geography
  4. Check how many school alumni joined your target firms
  5. Normalize for the size of the Master intake (if available)

Good luck!

Francesco

Well, that really depends on what you want to do with your career. The best option depends more on YOU than on one of those degrees by themselves.

It's about FIT, not about which one is the best.
