Consulting/Kearney DACH Region - Recruiting Process Timeline and Best Time to Apply?

Hi everyone,

I'm seeking information about Kearney's recruiting process for internships in the DACH region (if that makes any difference). Specifically, I would like to know:

  1. How does the recruiting process for interns differ from that of general consulting roles at Kearney in this region?
  2. What is the typical duration from application submission to the first interview?
  3. When is the best time to apply for a summer internship (starting July) to maximize my chances?

If you don't know the information for Kearney, I would also appreciate answers to questions 2 and 3 for comparable consulting firms!

Hi there,

1. Usually 1 interview round instead of 2. Interviews and fit are the same.

2. Can be very quick from 1-2 weeks up to 1-2 months (you have some influence here)

3. I would apply early next year.

Cheers,

Florian
