BCG Referall Link

Hi,

I received a Referral from a BCG employee to apply for a job at BCG. The Email containing the referral states the following:

"If you’re interested, please submit your application using the following referral link: (followed by the link)
This link is unique to you and will be valid for the next 14 days. If this is your first time visiting our Career Site, you will be asked to complete your Candidate Profile before applying."

Does the 14 day deadline refer to creating a "Candidate Profile" or to actually applying for the job?

Thank you in advance!

Hi there,

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • First of all, the 14-day deadline most likely refers to submitting your application using the referral link.
  • Moreover, I would advise you to clarify with the person providing the referral to know for certain.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming BCG Casey pre-interview assessment and BCG interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

That’s the expiration of the referral link itself. Depending on the office and role, it might be a rolling application deadline or set date — your point of contact can help clarify. I would apply as soon as you can and get started on your case interview prep right away.

Before you hit submit, make sure your resume/CV is as strong as possible to maximize the odds of making it through the CV screen. Let me know if you need support polishing up your CV before submitting it.

Hi there,

I would interpret it as such that the application needs to be submitted within 14 days. However, it's best to clarify with the recruiter, especially if you think that this might be a problem for you.
