1st Round BCG Dubai

I completed my process with BCG Dubai a few weeks ago. I finished my first round on Friday, and by Monday mid-day, I already knew the outcome. My mentees had a similar experience.

I would suggest waiting until early next week. If you do not hear back from HR by Tuesday, you can reach out to them.

BCG Dubai usually provides feedback within 2-3 days, but on occasion it can take a week. So if they take longer than a week, it would be reasonable to follow up with the recruiting team.

Hi there! Congrats on making it to the first round :) I would wait at least one week before reaching out. Firms have been taking a little longer than usual to get back to candidates, and we're close to the holiday season. Fingers crossed you receive some good news soon! 

Make sure you ask for feedback (if they don't offer) before your DR interviews if you make it to the next stage. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need help preparing for Decision Round.

Usually, it’s up to one week. If you don’t hear back within one week of the interview date, it is fine to follow up with HR.

Hey!

Given that BCG Dubai mentioned they close interviews for the year on the 23rd of December, it might be a good idea to wait until early next week to follow up if you haven't heard back by then. This would give the HR team some time to process interviews before the holiday break. If you decide to follow up, you could send a polite email early next week expressing your continued interest and asking for an update on the outcome of your interview.

First of all, congratulations on the progress in the application process with BCG thus far!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

• First of all, and contrary to what other coaches have said, especially with the Middle East offices, it seems to be rather common at the moment to have longer lead times.
• Moreover, while I understand that knowing the outcome is important to you, technically there's no difference in when you find out. So I would advise you to follow up with an email or better still a phone call early in the new year when the office is open again. But rest assured that you will get a response.
