1. In general I would say, ADV C is looking for dedicated people with any kind of profound experience. This experience can take many forms. Whether it is years of dedication to a field of study, in the form of an MBA or PhD, or even various university experiences. More precisely, we have colleagues with various different educational backgrounds, be it business economics, business informatics, medical (technology), physics or engineering, to name just a few. In addition the experience can also mean the decision to have lived or worked for some time abroad or in different countries, or internships ranging from classical to very specific consultancies, such as one of my colleagues in the field of aerospace technology, but also in the area of entrepreneurship or sustainability. To conclude, ADV C is looking for people who are creative and like to bring in ideas and thereby contribute to a great extent.
2. That's right. I'm happy to share with you that the role of a strategic consultant is incredibly important and exciting in this context! Our teams are set up with a broad range of professional expertise and experience, depending on the client's needs. What is clear, however, is that almost every project requires expertise in defining e.g., a vision, a target picture, customer types, a strategic market analysis, before moving on to the details of operational processes, planning a mock-up, implementation in a specific region, or the like. So far, I've found it incredibly enriching that we have colleagues with a tremendously structured strategic approach and thinking that understand the clients challenges and pain points and also some with analytical or even programming skills, so that after a few weeks or even month great results come out of it!
1. No specific preference or hidden requirement. We prefer a highly motivated candidated, who has done their homework and trying to learn basics about Siemens / SAC, than a very experienced candidate who seems to know it all.
2. The strength of SAC is that it is part of Siemens, one of the largest global companies driving digital transformations at scale. SAC consultants are helping Siemens and other companies alike in their digital transition.
