What is the process for EYP interview? Is it as detailed as MBB? I am looking at EY Parthenon - Corporate Real Estate - Capital Projects - Sr Associate-Consultant role.

What are the steps involved and what will it be like?

Hi there,

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • First of all, the interview process is very similar to the ones from other consulting firms.
  • Moreover, while it is great to see how eager you are in your preparation, please rest assured that you will be informed in detail by the recruiter as soon as you’re invited.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Dear candidate,

the process by practise can vary. Since you are interviewing for a specific role, which is great, also be really fit and know the industry, the background, come up with your own innovation ideas and definietely can master MBB. The process is similar to MBB, however MBB in itself vary firm to firm. Expect several interviews, cases and personal distinction questions. For EY you can also network easily in advance it is a very large firm, try to find networking in your practise, close to where you want to work, and know if it is challenging, you can easily network using a different practise or opportunity at EY, so diverse, so big. EY has strong industry connections and it is a huge plus.

I wish you the very best in your preparation.

That is helpful. Thank you! Do you recommend any study material? I have been reading "Case in Point" and watching mostly YouTube videos By networking do you mean connect with people on LinkedIn or do they have in person events open to all?

The process depends on the specific role. If it is a strategy consultant / corporate growth role, it will be quite similar.

For an experienced position in real estate / capital project role, you should expect more of a scenario based technical interview, although it is always a good practice to confirm with HR what does the interview look like.

Hi there,

The process is similar and usually consists of several interviews with a

  • fit interview component (typical fit interview with focus questions on the desired industry)
  • case interview component (mainly candidate-led)

Cheers,

Florian
