Your performance will be assessed every 6 months by a Partner committee, which collects the feedback of every manager, principle, and partner who have worked with you in the period. The main areas of assessment are problem-solving, team working & leadership, client engagement & relationship, and entrepreneurship. The weight of each of these points will depend on your role (e.g. client relationships become increasingly important with your career advancement).

Best,

Antonello

I believe a good management consultant does not only excel in quantitative problem solving skills but more over is also able to communicate with the client in order to thoroughly understand the problem at hand and in this process is also able to make the client trust them.

A management consultant should be good in listening to the customer and the customer's employees to extract valuable information and build a solid basis for further research.

Moreover, they should have strong communication skills to carefully convey their messages as well as present their results in a professional manner.

Furthermore, as a good management consultant one should have profound knowledge on up-to-date trends in tech and in social developments.

Most importantly a genuine curiosity and interest in other people's business. Skills, knowledge, drive, etc. are found in many people, but these people tend to be overly focused on their own affairs. A consultant must step into the shoes of their clients.

A good consultant is able to understand the broader problem quickly, identifying the most important aspects and then finding ways of learning more about it before solving those.

Work structured, reliable, open-minded while keeping the goal in mind, transferring knowledge from other industries, being adaptive in a dynamic environment.
