Hello Sujay,

  • Average consumption is indicated at point 3

2 bottles per week to drink, plus 2 per month to give away as gifts

  • Amount available to spend is indicated at point 2:

Initial kick-start $1,500/$12,000, $300/$600 per month thereafter

Hope it helps,

Luca

Hello Luca, I don't really understand though why the wine bottles consumption is set as a steady number equal to 50 per year? However, it should be 300/30 = 10 per month, thus 10*12= 120 bottles per year. Please correct me if I am wrong.

agree with you here, however they buy 120 per year but also consume 128 so theoretically the "steady" 50 is going down by 8 per year

They made the simplification that a year has 48 weeks instead of 52 weeks, that is why they end up with the 120 bottles (4 weeks * 2 bottles = your 8 bottle difference). But theoretically you are right.
