Tips for remote case exhibits

Hi there,

Newbie to case interviews here (applying from industry).

From what I’ve read, remote cases are common in early stages and you can’t use screenshots. With that - is there any advice on handling multiple exhibits - is it more effective to jot down some key notes, or keep asking your interviewer to move between them on screen share?

Thanks!

Hello,

  1. Definitely write down notes/insights when reading exibits
  2. Usually the interviewers makes sure that you discussed an exibit and derived insights before moving on to the next one. Hence, it's important for you to take notes and remembers details
  3. It's ok to ask interviewer to go back to earlier exhibit if you want to have another look.

Best of luck!

Hi there,

Interviewers know that they have to give you time to digest the information and perform your analysis. Combine note-taking and asking them to move between the exhibits when they share their screen.

Cheers,

Florian

Case materials and interview process are adjusted in order to avoid the situation you are describing. But make sure to take some notes, anyway, as you may need that information for (at least) the final recommendation.
