Hi there,

1. Build understsanding
Understand how the test goes and what skills are tested, e.g. with articles on PrepLounge or the test articles series on MConsultingPrep.
Two important notes:
- It is important to note that many tests require good time management as few candidates are able to answer all questions. Here, testing your ability to be resilient under pressure is being tested.
- In addition, in some tests you are “punished” for wrong answers and should account for that.
By the way: Make sure you really know what test you are required to do since there have been some changes recently. For example, BCG has replaced the chatbot test with a cognitive test in some geographies including Germany.

2. Practice the skills
Here you have 2 options:
- Practice the required skills in general and not the specific context of the test, e.g. with drills on numerical reasoning here on PrepLounge
- Purchase practice packages incl. software simulations that some other coaches offer here in the PrepLounge shop

Hope that helps!

Best,
Gero

There are lots and lots of resources out there. Finding them won't be a problem.

I'd start with the free ones - check via google and youtube to begin with.

Then you'll soon come across the paid ones.

My advice is to start casing in parallel. Virtually all of these tests check whether you have the basic skills to make it worth interviewing you. So if you've been casing for a while, most of these tests seem rather easy. As in, I've never met anybody who had been casing for a while and was good at it, and then happened to fail the test.

Best,
Cristian

There is plently of material available online (some free, some other more specialized and paid for).

Overall, GMAT type of preparation (focusing on the right “problem” categories) is 70% of what you need, but then you need to translate that into the types of business problems you get in these MBB tests (for this you need to use some test examples).
