PwC interview

Hi Everyone,

I have received an invite to PwC Private's strategy and consulting division's Associate interview. Any tips and specific types of cases that I should look out for?

By the way, I am from Australia and thanks in advance.

Hi there,

I think this is an interesting question that may be relevant for many people. I would be happy to share my thoughts on it:

  • Given the diversity of project experiences and industries among your interviewers, it may be challenging to prepare for specific types of cases. Instead, I would suggest researching the industries and capabilities of your potential employer and ensuring your case study preparation covers these areas.
  • Additionally, make sure to properly prepare for both general and behavioral fit questions in order to showcase your personal fit for the role.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare your upcoming PwC interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Hi there,

Congrats on getting invited to the interview!

No specific cases. You should expect the standard interview process with cases from across industries. Just to be 100% sure, reach out to HR and ask them to clarify the process for the coming rounds and what type of cases to expect.

Best,
Cristian

Hi,

Congrats on securing the interview.

I will make just 2 points:

  1. Focus on your core skills - this is ultimately the most important. If you have good fundamentals, it really doesn't matter what type of case you are thrown
  2. Clarify with HR if you can - it doesn't hurt and takes away abit of the stress and/or surprise. If I had clarified specifically with HR when I was interviewing, I would have been less surprised on the spot when I did my first ever interviews

All the best with your preparation!
