Hi there,
This is quite hard to do in a short time frame. You have two options - go to the resources section in this website, and you have a lot of material in there, including frameworks, relevant concepts and tutorial videos. You should at least skim through those.
Going through Victor Cheng's videos and book is also a good primer, with one MAJOR CAVEAT. Case interviews are not about knowing a few frameworks. Having a structured approach is not the same as having a framework (meaning: what you are asking for… is not what you should be looking for). As such, you can look at frameworks, they are good food for thought when considering your own structure, but they are a fundamentally wrong way to approach cases (or at least not the best one, as it actually is more labor intensive and has lower probability of success).
You may also network a bit - find someone who went through the process to the SPECIFIC PRACTICE you are applying to. PwC doesn't always use case interviews - that depends on the specific role. Make sure you understand what they're looking for and what does the process look like. You can reach out to the recruiter to have a better understanding of this.
Finally, the real accelerator here is (good) coaching. Please understand I am not trying to sell my services here. But having someone to guide who knows this stuff is definitely a good accelerator. But doesn't do any miracles on its own, as the coachees need to do a lot of “heavy lifting” work themselves.
Hi there,
Yes! This is what I specialize in. The core thing I work with people on is a fundamental mindset shift in objective-driven structured thinking.
Feel free to reach out and book a session ASAP (important to get started right way).
Hi there,
Yes, I can help. Though not so much with learning business case framework, as with learning how to develop frameworks on your own, on the spot, regardless of the case prompt. Basically, helping you to develop the skills that an actual consultant uses on a day by day basis.
Also, don't be pressed about the timeline. Interviews can always be moved. The important thing is to make sure that you are at your best level of ability when you actually go to the interview.
Best,
Cristian
Don’t worry! The key thing is to know a few high level frameworks and then just use the buckets in those frameworks when you come to the questions to help to structure. The rest of the case is mental maths and creativity - just learn your times tables and get comfortable with big numbers.
I’m happy to help - I’ve also pulled together three frameworks which will get you through the vast majority of cases. I’m happy to share if it’s helpful!
