Preparation/ case studies for case interview as sales & operations planning consultant?

I have a case interview for a Sales & Operations Planning consultant the week after next. Does anyone have any experience of which case types might be in demand and where you can get further training material?

Search for Operations Strategy tagged cases in PrepLounge and generally. The approach & prep required is no different that how you would for any case interview regardless of the company.

Hello!

In most cases, unless they´ve told you otherwise, the cases are not connected to the particular niche.

Intead, I would advise you to ensure you have a good overview of the most common case types:

1. Profitability cases- basic profitability framework.

2. Idea generation cases: for any specif issue

3. Growth cases: market penetration, new product launch, product mix change, etc.

4. Pricing cases

5. M&A cases

6. Valuation cases

7. Value chain cases

2) Google and casebooks are your friend. For example (https://managementconsulted.com/case-interview/case-interview-examples-master-list/)...go to Accenture, Amex, AT Kearney, Deloitte, and LEK sections which specifically call out operations.
