hi! i just took the mckinsey imbellus test and now reading about other people's experiences. i want to confirm if i had to create my ecosystem with an actual food chain. what that means is, was i supposed to put the plants and animals in the order that they will feed?
Mckinsey Imbellus Test
Hi there,
Yes, you have to create a chain where the animals and plants are connected with each other. The following is a screenshot from the guide I built, you should have seen something like this during the game:
Part of the information on each species was exactly on the Food Source and Predators, and you can use them to create the chain.
For those looking for more information, here is the guide I wrote on the Imbellus: https://www.preplounge.com/en/shop/tests-2/mckinsey-imbellus-game-secrets-48
And here is the version with guide + video (with full explanation on how to build a chain in less than 25 mins): https://www.preplounge.com/en/shop/tests-2/imbellus-combo-guide-videos-68

Francesco
Hi,
I've taken this test 2 years ago and go through all rounds until the Partner round but did not get returned offer.
Yes, it is actually a food chain and you have to place the right number of animals, in the right attitude, and so on. I hope that you could get it as it is the easiest part, case interviews are much harder and especially Partner cases.
Best,
Mia
Hi there,
Yes, the short answer is you do need to create an ecosystem/food chain.
