MBB Private Equity / Corporate Finance Practice - Interview different?

Hi guys,

I am wondering if and how the MBB interviews for their PE / Corporate Finance practice is different to an interview for a generalist position for job starters.

Different quesitons? If yes, how can one prepare for those? Do you have any good sources.

Thanks a lot!!

Most (all?) MBB firms divide our their private equity practices (sometimes divided into CDD and portfolio) from Financial Services. Assuming you're talking about the former, the process is usually the same in terms of cases (maybe more of a PE focus), but there will be more of an industry focus from a senior Consultant/ Partner in that sector to check your background and experience.
