Market entry or acquisition ?

Hello,

Thank you so much for this very insightful case and the correction,

I have a question though, regarding the market entry strategy. If I understand well, it is implied here that the company is doing an organic market entry ?

Is it correct to suggest a partnership such as a joint venture for example with HIT and Hospital control systems ? as they are both leaders and rapidly growing in the Physican and Patients Admin markets

Thank you so much

Aïda

Hi Aida,

I'm not intimately familiar with this case, but from a quick skim I think your suggestion is fair.

Organic growth can be done via a joint-venture.

That said, remember that JV's are normally about pairing companies up with different strengths/weaknesses.

Example: To build an Autonomous Vehicle, did GM pair up with Ford or did it pair up with (buy) Cruise?
