In-Person Case Prep in London, UK

I'm wondering if anyone London-based might be interested in a few weeks of fairly intense case prep in central London.

- I'm an experienced hire (past work experience not in consulting)

- Cases completed: 10-15, but it was ages ago, so consider me a novice

- Central London (ideally in-person but virtual works too)

- Duration: Sep 1st - Sep27th; I know this is intense but if anyone is keen for 3-4 weeks of intense prep (eg max 5x per week), I'm down

If you're interested, feel free to comment or message me.

Hi Tara,

It’s exciting to see a candidate use PrepLounge to find offline case preparation partners! I think it’s a great idea, especially for final-round interviews. Nonetheless, please keep in mind that for many consulting firms, first-round interviews are held virtually, which is something you should equally practice.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Hi Tara,

In case you are looking also to do a few sessions with a coach, I am based in Central London and don't mind some in person sessions as well :)

DM me if interested / want to chat more about this option.

Best,

Ariadna

Hi there,

A quick take on this:

In-person practice is great, however, make sure to

  • also include online case partners (many first-round interviews and even second-round interviews are still online)
  • practice with a diverse group of people to receive varied feedback and avoid becoming too complacent/comfortable with the same person
  • also include a lot of individual drills in the prep. If done correctly, this is 5x more efficient and effective compared to peer practice

Cheers,

Florian
