Given that it’s been over two weeks, it would be a good idea to reach out to the recruiter. You can send a polite email to inquire about the status of your test results.
I was invited for the McKinsey solve test which I wrote 2 weeks ago. The information I got online was we getting a pass or fail after 2 weeks. It’s been over 2 weeks now and I have not seen my results yet. What do you suggest I do?
Hi Deborah,
It’s understandable to feel a bit anxious while waiting for your results, especially since it’s been over two weeks. It’s a good idea to follow up with the recruiter to check on your status. Below is a polite email template you can use:
Subject: Follow-Up on McKinsey Solve Test Results
Dear [Recruiter’s Name],
I hope this message finds you well.
I wanted to follow up regarding the McKinsey Solve test I completed two weeks ago. I am very excited about the opportunity to potentially join McKinsey and am eager to learn more about the next steps in the process.
I understand these processes can take time, but I would greatly appreciate any updates you might have on my application status. Please let me know if there’s any additional information or steps needed from my side.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Deborah
Hi there,
I'd reach out directly to HR and ask at this point. Nothing to lose!
Fingers crossed!
Cheers,
