You can check it as follows for your target companies (for IE or any other school):

1. Go to LinkedIn
2. Add the university as "School"
3. Filter by target region
4. Filter by each MBB/target company as “Current company” for your target geography

If you find a good number of IE alumni with a background similar to yours, it means it could be a good option.

If you are not sure what a good number of people could be, you can use a school you are sure is a target as a benchmark.

I hold an MBA from IE and joined McKinsey in Spain.

Be cautious with Master’s degrees, as not all countries recognize them as official (e.g., France).

It's one piece of the puzzle and I tend to say that it would be a suitable school for applications, especially in the Middle East.

Other considerations:

• The name of the school is one thing. Also consider the specific program, your GPA, the leadership experience you gain while being part of it (e.g., clubs and organizations)
• Relevant work experience is equally important
• Supply of suitable candidates is extremely high for the Middle East, so other brand names will have an advantage (Oxbridge, etc.)
• Networking can help you get the foot in the door
