How long will I have until round 1 interviews

I just submitted my BCG summer internship application today for the first deadline. I'm curious how long I'll likely have until my first round interview takes place, assuming I get an interview. I haven't done too much case prep up until this point and I would like to plan based on how much time I have. Thanks!

Bain | EY-Parthenon | Private Equity | Market Estimates | Fit Interview

Each office may have its own timeline… I would expect at least a month before the 1st interview (considering resume review, online tests, scheduling).

In other words, you have some time but you should start right away preparing.

Hi there,

The general advice, which I agree with, is to be around 80% ready once you send your application.

It depends on the office but some offices will invite you for the test immediately (with a 7-day deadline) and then schedule the interviews within the next week. Others might take one month for everything.

Cheers,

Florian
