Hey there,
The short answer is: No, it is not a strict requirement, more especially if you're coming in at Associate level. At Consultant level, there may be great focus on your experience and achievements if you don't hold a Masters equivalent
But that said - i know many candidates that get into BCG without having a Masters degree but were able to showcase that they had the pre-requisite background and experience.
(Also, if you are an Experienced Hire candidate, please make sure you apply in the Experienced BCG Careers Portal and not the Students one....)
All the best!
Hi there
As of recent updates, BCG has indeed become more flexible with their educational requirements, especially for experienced professionals. For Riyadh and Dubai, having a master's degree is no longer a strict requirement if you have substantial work experience.
In your application strategy, I would advise you to highlight your work experience, achievements and any relevant skills/certifications.
Best of luck,
Maja
Where have you worked these past four years?
If it was in consulting-related roles or a company with a strong brand name, you likely won’t need a master’s degree.
Best,
Alberto

Hey!
No, BCG does not necessarily require candidates to hold a master’s degree for roles in Riyadh or Dubai offices. They actively seek individuals with diverse qualifications, including those with a bachelor’s degree. The firm values a variety of backgrounds and experiences, so a strong undergraduate degree combined with relevant work experience can be sufficient for applying to positions. Additionally, BCG offers opportunities like their "leave" program, which allows employees to pursue advanced degrees while still being employed at the firm.
Good luck, Alessa
