THE TITLE: A theoretical comparison of different Problem Solving Methods (PSM)

THE RESEARCH QUESTION: Which PSM is most effective in solving a particular business problem (BP)?

  1. What is the BP?

To define the list of BPs (max 3-4)

    Types of BPs

    What classification (methodology used?)

  2. What is PSM?

To define the list of PSMs (max 3-4)

    Types of PSMs

    What classification (methodology used?)

  3. Tailor each BP to the most efficicent PSM (matrix?)

    Explain why
    Conclusion: matrix result?

    How do you like it?

The proposed theoretical comparison of different Problem Solving Methods (PSM) is well-structured and comprehensive. It addresses key components such as defining business problems (BP), types of BPs, understanding PSMs, and tailoring each BP to the most efficient PSM. The inclusion of a matrix to match BPs with PSMs enhances clarity and practical application. The conclusion suggests a systematic approach to decision-making for optimal outcomes. Overall, it provides a solid framework for research in this area.

That's more like it! Good job. Now it sounds complicated and obscure (haha) enough  for a research thesis.

Joke aside, really good job with the progress. I would recommend you further refine it with some senior academics and then get going.

Best of luck!
Cristian

I think at this point it is more about thinking which business problems you want to compare / how to narrow down to an adequate set of business problems where both approaches could be applied.
