Nein, das gilt für MBB nicht. MBB sind sehr international ausgerichtet. Ein Bild im Lebenslauf wird in Deutschland höchstens toleriert - es ist keinesfalls ein Vorteil.

• First of all, and contrary to what other coaches have said, there is no official standard for consulting application files. While more and more career offices of target universities offer resume and cover letter writing courses and templates, which leads to more uniform application files, this has not necessarily anything to do with good practice.
• Moreover, in case you have a professional application photo of yourself, including it will certainly not be at your disadvantage, even if the advantages will also be very limited.
• Lastly, as such, I would highly advise you to focus on the content of your application files. Ensure they are tailored to the position and highlight your relevant skills and experiences. That will be more beneficial in making your application stand out.

My German is not the best so I'll write the answer in English - you don't need a photo on your resume for MBB (though I know it's standard in Germany to include a photo). So you're fine without!

Actually, consulting CVs are almost exclusively without photos. 

So do try to keep it out.

die Tendenz zu Profilphotos auf deutschen CVs gilt auch fuer MBB. Dabei handelt es sich eher um einen kulturellen Standard im DACH-Raum als um firmenspezifische Charakteristika. 

Gleichzeitig sollte gesagt sein, dass die Firmen mit oder ohne Photo auf die Qualitaet deines Profils schauen. Ob man ein Photo hat oder nicht spielt hier keine Rolle.
