BearingPoint Assessment Test

Hi everyone,

I have recently completed the assessment test of BearingPoint for an entry level consultant position in Germany. However it seems like there was a bug in the system that I could not send the fourth assessment correctly (planning). Has anyone had the same experience?

Hi there,

you should probably reach out to their recruiting team and let them know that you had a technical issue with the test - best to do it right away rather than wait. They would be the ones who could help you best in this situation.

Sorry to hear about this.

These things happen rather often.

I recommend you reach out to the recruiter that you've been in touch with to inform them about this.

Hope it gets solved soon and it doesn't get in your way.

Best,
Cristian

Hi there,

Q: Has anyone had the same experience?

I don’t have direct experience with BearingPoint, however I know that with the McKinsey game test sometimes candidates have technical issues.

I would recommend reaching out to HR, if you have proof of the issue (eg a screenshot), they should be able to help and hopefully let you retake the part of the test with the problem.

Good luck!

I recommend to contact HR and provide any evidence of the issue (screenshot). They should be able to assist you and ideally allow you to retake the problematic portion of the test.

All the best ,

Regards Ashwin

Reach out to them, not to us.

It doesn't matter if other people had it or not.

It matters that when you face a problem you reach out and flag it to the right people at the firm!

Hi there,

First of all, I am sorry to hear about your negative experience with BearingPoint's pre-interview assessment!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your situation:

  • First of all, it's important to document the issue clearly. I would advise you to take screenshots or save any other proof of the bug that occurred during your pre-interview assessment.
  • Moreover, reach out to the recruiter as soon as possible. Explain the problem concisely and professionally, asking for guidance on how to proceed or the possibility of retaking the affected part of the pre-interview assessment.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on your specific situation, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen
