BAIN online test

Hi there,

For most offices, Bain is using the SOVA Test.

• 5 segments (verbal, logical, numeric reasoning, situational judgment and personality traits)
• No specific time limit, only a recommendation to finish within 75 minutes

There are great guides and practice tests available via Google.

It's similar to most other MBB tests, GMAT type of questions although mostly presented as business problems.

It's called SOVA. You can find lots of info on it here on PrepLounge and also via Google. 

It's similar in what it tests to all the other screening tests consulting firms are running.

My recommendation though would be to reach out to the recruiter from your target office and ask them to walk you through the recruitment process. This way you'll understand whether it differs in any specific way for the role that you are applying for.

• Yes, Bain, like so many consulting firms these days, has introduced a pre-interview assessment, the Bain Sova, which consists of actually four sections (numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, logical reasoning, and a personality test).
