I’m Mafalda, originally from Portugal and now living between Dubai and Bali. And I'm looking forward to helping you get into MBB!

I know what it feels like to start this journey from scratch. I come from a pure engineering background, with zero prior exposure to business, strategy, or consulting when I first set out to prepare for MBB interviews. I had to figure things out differently—adapting my problem-solving mindset, learning to communicate with structure and impact, navigating the process and dealing with ambiguity.

Fast forward to today: I’ve spent the last 6 years at BCG, rising from Associate to Project Leader as a top performer. I've worked across two very different systems— Iberia and Middle East —giving me firsthand insight into how recruiting, working styles, and expectations shift across geographies.

Throughout my career, I’ve led and supported projects across several industries such as Green Energy, Climate & Sustainability, Retail, Public Sector, AI, Utilities, Food & Beverages, Museums, and Bancassurance—spanning functions like strategy, transformation, PMO, and pricing. I've also been part of the recruiting team at BCG, attending events and interviewing candidates.

As a coach, I take a holistic approach to MBB prep. It’s not just about cracking the case—it’s your behavior, mindset, energy, communication, and story that shape how you're perceived. That includes how you structure your study plan, how your CV and cover letter land, and how you show up on the day of the interview.

In parallel, I’ve recently launched a business in the wellness and recovery space in Southeast Asia. So I also execute and managed other interests during my consulting career.
