Consultant, Product manager and Business owner in my 10+ years of professional experience. Just recently a McKinsey Junior Engagement Manager (i.e., Senior Associate) in the South East Asia region
Non-traditional path into MBB
I majored in biology before entering a boutique consulting firm, with the eventual intention to get into MBB. I understand the struggles in developing a business-centric mindset, and the appropriate analytical and verbal toolkit required to ace the interview and eventually succeed in a high intensity environment
Proven interviewing track record
I've had a storied history of interviewing for consulting and tech firms, starting from boutique firms and eventually receiving offers to McKinsey, Oliver Wyman, Google, Amazon and Uber. Frankly, acing the case interview toolkit would mean most FAANG interviews would be an absolute pushover
I've failed dozens of interviews prior to my success, including Bain, BCG, Roland Berger, and several other tech firms. Resultingly, I learned the hard way on how to succeed
Skillsets beyond a traditional consulting toolkit
Not only have I consulted F500 companies at a c-suite level, I've successfully ran my own family business and sold it successfully
I've demonstrated industry (Grocery, Manufacturing) in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific and consulting (Strategy and Operations) experience across Asia-Pacific
