Pymetrics "personality types" for consulting?

There are three games that are tested differently across companies.

The first is Money Exchange 1, where from $10 you give $x to someone else, which will be tripled. They then give you something back, which is unknown at first. This tests trust. How trustful should a consultant be? - How much money should you give?

The second is Money Exchange 2, where you have $10 and the opposite person has $5. You can give or take from them as much as you want. This tests altruism. - How altruistic should a consultant be? - I assume we want to make it so we both have the same amount of money.

The third is the balloon game, where you receive money by pumping a balloon but it can pop and you lose everything. - How risk-averse should a consultant be?

Hi there,

I think this is an interesting question that may be relevant for many people. I would be happy to share my thoughts on it:

  • While I feel it is difficult to deceive the test, as the BCG Pymetrics test evaluates your cultural fit, you might still carefully consider the personality traits being tested and how they would be desirable in a (BCG) consultant. This might guide you in playing the games.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to address your specific situation, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Please don't try to game the personality tests. Do them as you would!
